different.
My editorial story ‘One in a million’ featured on Institute
Magazine.
I had great fun shooting this
editorial for Institute Magazine. My creativity came alive with my wonderful
team with stylist Katey, and model Charly who matched the look of the shoot
perfectly.
Inspired by control,
authority & refinement, the clothing consists of minimal lines
with chunky footwear, with a hint of sporty tailoring and blocks of colour. I wanted to play upon the idea of androgyny such as femininity vs masculinity to highlight how there isn’t equality in our society. Femininity always demands more, to be
insufficiently feminine is viewed as a
failure in a core sexual identity.
The simplicity showcases the clean lines and
androgynous staples that many women should have in their wardrobes!
